Paddlers on the Neuse in Kinston

The Kinston-Lenoir County Visitor and Information Center is located on the historic battlefield of the First Battle of Kinston.  The center offers visitors the opportunity to see many local civil war artifacts and historic findings from the First Battle of Kinston as well as other sites from the area and surrounding areas. Also available is an auditorium and projection screen that features various films about Kinston that can be viewed every hour.  The Visitor Center also has vending machines, clean restrooms and animal walks for the traveler wanting to stop and take a break.  Please feel free to visit Monday - Friday from 9 am-7 pm and Saturday from 10 am-5 pm.    Admission is free.
