Parks & Recreation Department
The Kinston/Lenoir County Parks & Recreation Department operates 11 parks providing organized programs for adults and children, such as: arts and crafts, dance classes, golf, tennis, summer day camps, baseball, softball, volleyball, dodgeball, basketball, football, soccer, kickball and swimming.
Two public outdoor pools are available, one at Emma Webb Park and one at Holloway Recreation Center.
Adult activities are scheduled thoughout the year including golf, tennis, basketball, softball, bridge, aerobics, dodgeball, line dancing and senior outings. A Senior Olympics program is also active in the Spring and Fall.
All Kinston/Lenoir County Parks & Recreation facilities are alcohol and tobacco-free.
